Rewards Built for Our Leaders

There are multiple pathways to reach the threshold to achieve demonstrated administrator excellence and earn Administrator Performance Incentive awards:

Student Success (35%)
Effective Instruction and Student Success High-Needs Schools
Instructional Leadership (35%)
(20%)
 (10%)
  • Based on summative evaluation rating according to new TEAM framework.

  • Student growth, a quantitative metric, includes TVAAS® student progress data and student achievement data (35%).
  • Leadership, a qualitative metric, includes TILS (Tennessee Instructional Leadership Standards) rubric, teacher surveys, and quality of teacher evaluations (35%).
  • Based on meeting Adequate  Yearly Progress, AYP, the No Child Left Behind accountability standard.

  • AYP measures progress toward proficiency for all students and applicable sub-groups.
  • Takes into account the percent of free/reduced lunch and years of continuous service at that school.
  • Seeks to recognize effective leadership in high-needs schools, with an emphasis on administrator stability.

An administrator who achieves the status of “model performance” will earn the $1,500 incentive, and an administrator who achieves the status of “exemplary performance” will earn the $2,000 incentive.

The payout will be an annual award granted each year that the administrator meets the criteria for the performance incentive.
